People's Cable Group Successfully Passes State Grid Supplier Qualification Review

The State Grid Corporation of China recently announced the results of its 2024 supplier qualification capability review. Three major product categories from Jiangxi People's Cable Group—10kV power cables, low-voltage power cables, and overhead insulated conductors—successfully passed on-site expert inspections, maintaining the company's qualified supplier status with State Grid.

During the review process, the expert panel conducted comprehensive inspections of the company's raw material procurement, production process control, testing, and technical R&D. They also performed on-site combustion tests on fire-resistant cables. Test results showed that the cables maintained circuit energization after 90 minutes of exposure to 750°C flame, with performance exceeding national standard requirements.

The company's products are now widely used in rural grid renovation and urban distribution network construction projects in State Grid's Jiangxi, Anhui, Hubei provinces and beyond. For three consecutive years, the company has received an A-grade rating in State Grid's supplier performance evaluations.
