Trucks loaded with 35kV power cables recently departed from People's Cable's Jiangxi production base. This shipment, totaling 230 kilometers in length and valued at nearly USD 4 million, will be dispatched via the Port of Shanghai to the Philippines for use in the Mindanao region's power transmission network upgrade project.

The cables for this project must comply with IEC 60502-2 standards while withstanding the harsh conditions of the Philippines' tropical marine climate, including high temperatures, high humidity, and salt spray corrosion. The company's technical team optimized the insulation eccentricity and metal shielding structure, conducting four-hour voltage withstand and partial discharge tests before shipment to ensure a 30-year service life.

This year, the company's export business has maintained strong growth, with Southeast Asian market orders increasing by 45% year-on-year, establishing it as the third-largest overseas market after the Middle East and Africa.
